Originally founded in 1935 Ranalah Coachworks Ltd created car bodies and supplied tooling.
In 1937 they diversified into sheet metal work for the aircraft industry and with the outbreak of war, the emphasis moved to aviation and the Ranalah Wheeling Machine was born.
The elongated C shape was designed to accommodate and build spitfire panels among others, hence why it is often nicknamed the spitfire wheel.
The company was re-launched at the start of 2021 by Dominic Chinea, with a goal to preserve the machines important heritage and increase its availability for future generations to learn and use the skill of wheeling.
Often known as the “Rolls Royce of Wheeling Machines” we are striving to make sure the new machines and brand, are of the finest quality to stand the test of time and maintain this reputation.
The all new machines are indistinguishable to the originals, and perform just as well. all with interchangeable parts to original machines.
East Coast Casting produce the Iron frame and we are proud to be able to produce everything in the UK with the machines all being Handmade in England
The Ranalah sticker pack includes recreations of three original pieces of artwork from the 1940s.
The stickers range from 5cm to 11cm - Just the right size to display on your toolbox.
